Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Rajeev trained as an electrical engineer and spent his early career commissioning power infrastructure before founding Astral Solar & Engineering in 2023. He started the company after watching too many rooftop installers cut corners on load calculations and cable sizing — problems that surface years later as underperforming systems and fire risks. His conviction was simple: solar deserves the same engineering rigor as any other critical electrical system.
Over a decade later, he still reviews design drawings personally on larger commercial and industrial projects, and continues to set the technical standard every engineer on the team is expected to meet.
Between them, engineering and operations cover every stage of a project — from the first drawing to the last cable tie.
Director, Engineering
Priya leads the design and engineering function, overseeing every load calculation, single-line diagram, and structural drawing before a project reaches the field. She joined as a design engineer and has since built the in-house engineering practice from scratch, setting the technical standards every project is measured against.
